"Performance Cattle with Style"

... may be new to the Maine-Anjou breed, but Ken and Nan Persyn have been involved with the registered cattle business for more than three decades. As past owners of Medina Valley Genetics, a company they built into a worldwide distributor of Texas Breeders Genetics thru A.I. and Embryo Transfer, was sold in 2000 to Ultimate Genetics. Ken & Nan selected to be involved with the Maine-Anjou breed due to what Ken refers to "As the Right Kind at the Right Time".

The need for producers to select quality genetics in today's cattle industry is more important than ever. In order to successfully market cattle today, breeders need cattle with good fertility, top notch performance, excellent carcass quality, strong maternal traits, calving ease and a gentle disposition. At KNP we believe the Maine-Anjou breed offers those traits in a package with added style. We are excited about our selection of De Rouchey cattle. We plan on improving and offering other cattlemen a performance group of cattle that have the style to also compete in the show ring. If you are looking to produce cattle that will perform in the pasture, on the plate and in the show ring, stop by for a visit and let us show you what's going on at
